Gifting Tree returns

WINFIELD — As the holidays approach, the Gifting Tree returns to the Winfield area.

Winfield-Mt. Union families are reminded to look for applications in their students’ bags to sign up to have their children placed on the Gifting Trees. Applications need returned as soon as possible so the banks can place tags on the trees.

Once information is received, tags with information for purchasing gifts will be placed on Gifting Trees located at Wayland State Bank and Pilot Grove.

Beginning Nov. 21 interested individuals may visit either location to pick a tag off the tree and gift a child in their community.

Those choosing to donate gifts are asked to return the purchased items wrapped and labeled with the tag to one of the tree locations by Dec. 11
