MT. PLEASANT — The Witch Way to Main Street event hosted by Main Street Mt. Pleasant kicked off a weekend of Halloween fun, Thursday.
Babies all the way through adults gathered treats from local businesses and organizations as they explored downtown.
Ali Remick pulled her 9-month-old son, Archie the dinosaur around in a wagon as they enjoyed the costumes and decorations for his first Halloween event.
“I’ve put his costume on three times this week,” she said. “This is the best he’s done.”
A number of police officer costumes were spotted in the crowds, but 9-year-old McKinley Mason took her role particularly seriously.
McKinley drug around her mother, dressed as a bank robbed, attached to her candy bucket with handcuffs.
Once groups finished making their way around to the different businesses, people began to gather in Central Park.
Main Street filled the park with treats, photo opportunities, games, and bounce houses.
