Helicopter transports one after motor vehicle accident

MT. PLEASANT — A motor vehicle accident Tuesday morning sent one to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics via Medforce helicopter.
Henry County Sheriff’s Office received reports of a motor vehicle accident with injuries in the 1600 Block of 253rd Street just off Oakland Mills Road around 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29. Those traveling in the area were advised to steer clear of the scene as the Medforce helicopter arrived.
Henry County Sheriffs, Henry County Emergency Medical Services, Iowa State Patrol, and Mt. Pleasant Fire Department responded to the call.
