Henry Co. Conservation board meets Wednesday

DANVILLE—The Henry County Conservation Board will hold their September board meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 5:30 p.m.

“Please note that we are meeting at Mud Creek Recreation Area for our meeting this month,” Henry County Conservation Department Executive Director Caleb Waters said.

The Mud Creek Recreation Area is located at 2570 312th St., Danville.

The Nature Center pond reconstruction, foot bridge renovation update, future facility upgrades, recreation area upgrades, and naturalist reports will be discussed per the agenda.

The board will tour Mud Creek and travel to Stephenson’s Park in Lowell following the meeting.
