Henry County Conservation’s annual escape room sold out

MT. PLEASANT — Many groups wore wide grins as they found their way out of the Nature Center over the last month.

Henry County Conservation Department sold out every slot for their annual Escape room this year.

“We had multiple time slots mostly throughout the month of November and beginning of December,” Conservation Executive Director Caleb Waters said. “Every single slot was full. So, we had a great turn out for that.”

The escape room offered an opportunity for groups to become part of the mystery of the Terror at the Campsite.

The escape room welcomed families, friends, and groups of all kinds.

County Recorder Lynnae Buffington and the recorder’s office staff used the escape room for a team building opportunity while support another department in the county.

“We had a blast,” Buffington told all the county department heads at their monthly meeting Thursday, Dec. 7. “So, we highly recommend other offices to do that next year.”

“Unfortunately, we guessed it,” Buffington said. “We figured it out, but we talked ourselves out of it.”
