One in five people will experience a mental illness during their lifetime. Mental health is just as important as physical health, and anyone can experience a mental health crisis. You don’t have to go through it alone.
Henry County Health Center (HCHC) offers mental health services through:
Henry County Health Center – Mount Pleasant Clinic: For individuals 18 and older. Heather Miller, PMHNP, provides mental health services including comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations, medication management, coordination of therapy, management of acute/chronic mental health conditions, and arrangement for further testing or treatments related to behavioral health conditions.
Common mental health disorders managed include: depression, anxiety, grief, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, dementia with behavior issues, impulsivity, intellectual disability, eating, adjustment, and mood disorders.

Senior Life Solutions is an outpatient program designed to meet the unique needs of older adults, typically 65 and older, experiencing depression and/or anxiety related to life changes often associated with aging or a chronic diagnosis. For more information, call 319-385-6552.
