Henry County Leadership 2025 graduates

The Mount Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce held a ceremony celebrating the completion of the 2024-2025 Henry County Leadership program. Over the course of nine months, the class members able to meet with community and business leaders, took a variety of business tours and completed “Leading Communities” with Iowa State University Extension & Outreach — Henry County.

Henry County Leadership strives to provide our communities with an enduring source of diverse leaders who are prepared and committed to serving their region. As a skills-building program, Henry County Leadership aims to:

Identify and motivate emerging community leaders

Provide an educational experience with a strong emphasis on both leadership skills and community awareness

Challenge participants to apply their talents within their community while providing an opportunity to become involved.
