Henry County Public Health reminds everyone that it is not too late to get your annual flu shot, your updated COVID shot, or the RSV shot for eligible individuals to protect yourself against respiratory viruses this winter.
Flu activity is beginning to rise so they also remind everyone to focus on healthy habits this holiday season to prevent the spread of respiratory viruses. Wash your hands often, cover your cough or sneeze, avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth, clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces, and avoid gatherings if you or your children are ill.
Henry County Public Health is located at 106 N. Jackson Street in Mt. Pleasant. Language interpretation is available. If you have questions call Public Health at 319-385-0779 or follow them at Facebook.com/HealthyHenryCounty for the latest news.
