HILLSBORO — Residents of the Hillsboro should keep their eyes open for spring cleanup and new library hours.
Small town libraries like the Hillsboro Public Library thrive on the charity of volunteers and the understanding of their communities.
Thanks to volunteer librarians, Donna Kramer, Gary Tift, and Elizabeth Carpenter Helmick, the Hillsboro Public Library will open to the public Monday-Thursday 4-6 p.m. and offer Kids’ Time Sundays at 1:30 p.m. until school lets out for the summer.
For more information on potential changes to the library hours, visit the Hillsboro Iowa Watch and Talk Facebook page or call (319) 253-4000
