Hunting for Hunts
Easter activities can be found throughout Henry, Jefferson and Washington counties

Hunting for Easter eggs is fun. Hunting to find where your community egg hunt is happening, however, is not. Check out these events in your county.
Henry County
New London’s Holiday Stroll will be raising funds with Breakfast with the east bunny 7 a.m.-10 a.m. Saturday, April 9 at Shelter House. Adults are $5 and children six and under are $3. Breakfast consists of pancakes, sausage and eggs.
Hillsboro Easter Egg hunt is 9 a.m., Saturday, April 9 in City Park.
Mt. Pleasant Eggstravaganza is 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 9. Children birth to fifth grade are invited to hunt eggs and get pictures with the Easter bunny in Central Park.
Salem Easter Egg Hunt is 11 a.m., Saturday, April 9 at City Park.
Mt. Union Egg Hunt is 10 a.m., Saturday, April 16 at Eagles Landing Park (Mt. Union Park). Children one year through 10 years old are invited to participate.
Winfield’s Sunrise Terrace Care Center is hosting an Easter Egg hunt 11 a.m., Saturday, April 16 for children birth through fifth grade.
Wayland’s Egg hunt is 1 p.m., Saturday, April 16 in West Park by Parkview.
Jefferson County
Fairfield’s Easter egg hunt is 10 a.m., Saturday, April 10 at Chautauqua Park
Lockridge has an egg hunt for children ages 1 through 12 at10 a.m., Saturday, April 9 at the Lockridge ball field.
Fairfield Goodwill hosts an Easter event from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, April 16. There will be games, prizes, pictures with the Easter bunny, coloring contest (until 10:30 a.m.), egg hunt (at 10:30 a.m.), sidewalk sale (10 a.m.-5 p.m.), and an adult Easter basket drawing (at 5 p.m.).
Washington County
Riverside Area Community Club invites the community to Hall Park at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 9 for an Easter egg hunt and pictures with the Easter bunny.
Washington State Bank hosts the Easter bunny for photos and visits at their Washington branch from 1-3 p.m., Friday April 15.
Ainsworth and SACHA join together to put on an egg hunt for preschool trough fifth grade children at Marr Park. The hunt is located at the Mary Marr Lodge beginning at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, April 16.
Crawfordsville Community Club is hosting an egg hunt following the Crawfordsville Fireman Breakfast (which runs from 9:30 a.m. to noon) at the ball field behind WACO Elementary Saturday April 16.
Wellman’s Easter egg hunt is 9:30 a.m., Saturday, April 16 at North Park.
Kalona Historical Village will host an egg hunt and vendor show from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, April 16. Families will hunt as units beginning at 10:30 a.m. Pony rides, a bounce house, games, and a freewill donation lunch also will be available.
Washington First Assembly of God hosts an egg hunt, puppet show, free meal, popcorn, and prize giveaway from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, April 16. Families will hunt as units. There are five times available to hunt once every half hour beginning at 10:30 a.m. and ending at 12:30 p.m.
