InMotion takes second in Keokuk
Mt. Pleasant show choir places second at latest competition

KEOKUK — With another show choir competition this past Saturday, Mt. Pleasant High School continues to earn top placements.
At Keokuk’s Power City Classic, Mt. Pleasant High School’s In Motion show choir took home third place overall along with the People’s Choice award.
The title of Grand Champion went to West Side Delegation from Cedar Rapids. They also claimed Best vocals, choreography, ban, male soloist, and female soloist.
During the daytime portion of the competition, the show choir also earned first place for the 3A Class beating out Swingspan from Fort Madison High School.
Jordan Webster-Moore, Christopher Reed, James Thompson, Gage Fenton, and Alex Siron judged seven mixed groups, one women’s group, and one middle school group for the Keokuk competition.
This weekend, Feb. 18, Mt. Pleasant’s In Motion show choir will perform at the Pella Dutch Masters Invitational.
