IW Community Days expand

MT. PLEASANT — With a favorable response from the public, Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber Alliance announces additional Community Days with opportunities for the public to treasure hunt, reminisce and explore designated buildings of former Iowa Wesleyan University.

On specific days the “Free Stuff” sign will once again march specific buildings open 1-7 p.m. for the public to venture through and take away whatever they find for free.

Currently the Chamber has announced the following additional Community Days for the next four Wednesdays:

Sept. 27 — Gymnasium and Student Union

Oct. 4 — P.E.O Building

Oct. 11 — Old Main and Pioneer Hall

Oct. 18 — Library

Power tools are not permitted but small wagons to help carry items is allowed. No items will be held as this is a first come, first served event.

Participants should make sure to stop at the entrance of the buildings to sign waivers before entering.
