MT. PLEASANT — Saturday, Nov. 5, Iowa Wesleyan University will host a Kidsymphony in the Chapel Auditorium at 2 p.m.
The Kidsymphony will include performances from the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra (SEISO), Tubby the Tuba, and The Toy Symphony.
According to Really Inventive Stuff, Tubby the Tuba invites the audience to follow the adventures of a red polk-a-dot yo-yo, a bullfrog puppet, and a small piece of ribbon through a story written by Paul Tripp and music by George Kleinsinger.
Really Inventive is also behind the production of The Toy Symphony.
The Toy Symphony engages the audience in Professor Tympanium van Hammer see Trumpeterclangor’s sound experiments.
The audience will play along with the Professor to create Mozart “The Toy Symphony.”
Tickets for this event are available through the SEISO website under upcoming events for $5.
