Legislators will visit Mt. Pleasant Saturday

MT. PLEASANT — Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce invites the public to join them for a Legislative Breakfast Saturday morning.

“We're so excited for the community to be able to come out and meet some of our legislators,” Chamber of Commerce Director of Membership Delaney Van Ness said.

“This is a great opportunity to hear from the folks working for you about what's going on in Des Moines and how they're working for Iowa,” she said.

From 8:30-10:30 a.m. hear from legislators Taylor Collins, Adrian Dickey, and Jeff Shipley in the International Room of the Chadwick Library on Iowa Wesleyan University’s Campus.

In addition to legislators’ remarks, the Chamber will ask the representative questions.

Following this, the public will have the opportunity to ask questions.
