Light Up the Lake

Saturday, April 23 Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber Alliance will host the first Light Up the Lake: Food Truck Festival.

Attendees can work up an appetite with the event kick off Color Run/Walk by Cross Fit Teo at 2 p.m. at East Lake Park.

Couples can register for the color run for $30 and individuals can participate for $20.

T-shirts and color bags will be provided.

The food truck festival entrance, however, is free. Attendees will be given the opportunity to support any of the food trucks of their choosing from 4-8 p.m.

Once everyone has had their fair share of good-eats the Chamber will host a showing of Moana on a big screen, so bring your lawn chairs and blankets.

Popcorn, soda, and water will be available for purchase during the movie.

The Chamber has announced two food trucks: Iowa Brëd and The Food Boss.
