Main Street offers learning opportunity

MT. PLEASANT — In order to continually support local businesses, Main Street Mt. Pleasant invites local businesses to a free Grow with Google workshop April 3 from 6-7:30 p.m.

“Main Street Mount Pleasant is hosting a free workshop on how to increase your sales with google tools,” Main Street Director Lisa Oetken said.

“We’ll show how local brick-and-mortar businesses can list products on a Google Business Profile,” the event registration site says. “We’ll also cover Google Merchant Center, a no-cost tool that allows both e-commerce and brick-and-mortar businesses to create free Product Listings on Google.”

The workshop will also teach business owners how to use Pointy to promote in-store inventory with their point of sale systems.

According to Oetken, “Any business can sign up. They do not have to be in the Main Street district.”
