Man wanted after domestic Disturbance

WINFIELD — Winfield Police Department is looking for an individual following a disturbance call over the weekend.
Just after 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, Henry County dispatch received a report of a disturbance in the 500 block of South Locust Street in Winfield. Officers from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and Winfield Police Department responded to the call.
Winfield Police Department states that the suspect Charles Carpenter, 29 of Mt. Pleasant, left the residence before officers arrived, however, he is currently wanted on charges of domestic assault, child endangerment, and interfering with 911 communications.
