Missing Mt. Pleasant woman found

MT. PLEASANT — A woman missing overnight in the Mt. Pleasant was located and taken to the hospital for a wellness check.
Henry County Sheriff’s Office received a request asking for assistance in locating the reported missing person Gloria Cole, 70 of Mt. Pleasant. Cole was reported missing at approximately 7:42 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16. At that time, she was last believed to be in the area of the 1600 grid of Old Highway 34 but was not seen or heard from since. The 5’3 white female’s clothing was unknown at the time of disappearance.
According to an update from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office at 10:39 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17 Cole was found in a nearby neighborhood.
