Mom Cafe changes meeting dates

MT. PLEASANT — This January local moms Tamara Zechin and Amy Bly started a new group for moms in the Mt. Pleasant area which they dubbed “Moms Café.” With the new school year starting, however, the group meeting times will change.

“We are so grateful for home nay moms we have been able to reach through the ne ministry Mom Café,” Zechin said. “We have been meeting monthly since January, and I believe that some wonderful friendships have formed. Many valuable resources have also been shared.”

Zechin and Bly are excited to continue to reach out to local moms, however, when the group will meet has changed starting this past Tuesday, Sept. 12.

Going forward the group will meet on the second Tuesday evening every month from 6-7:30 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Child care is not provided, at this time.

“We would like to invite all moms to join us for a monthly gathering during which we eat delicious treats, discuss the ups and downs of motherhood with other moms, learn valuable ideas for our families and share from our hearts with one another,” Zechin shared.

For those that cannot attend the in person meetings, Zechin encourages them to connect via their Facebook page Mom Café where they often post family-friendly local events.
