MT. PLEASANT — The Mt. Pleasant Moose Lodge #1003 wishes to say “thank you” to first responders with an appreciation dinner Thursday, May 16.
“Although we can never say thank you enough, we try as much as possible,” the Moose Lodge said in an invitation to first responders and their families. “It is truly the least we could do for your commitment to the people of Mt. Pleasant.”
“We appreciate everything our police, fire, sheriff, and EMS do for the community, and we look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday,” a representative of the Moose Lodge said.
From 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 16 they will serve first responders and their families a meal at the Lodge on North Saunders Avenue. For those on duty staff that cannot stay for the dinner, the Lodge will provide to-go meals. This is a free meal to all first responders on duty or off duty.
Additionally, according to Moose Lodge Administrator Marc Feagins, the lodge also will donate Tommy Moose dolls to the police and sheriff departments to distribute to children during stressful situations.
