Motorcycle accident results in injuries

MT. PLEASANT — Henry County Emergency Medical Services transported a motorcyclist who suffered an injury in a single-vehicle accident last Monday, June 10.
According to Henry County Sheriff’s Office, William Sears of Des Moines was operating a red 2016 Victory motorcycle in the 1300 grid of U.S. Highway 34 between Rome and Westwood when he lost control and collided with the ditch.
Sears not only suffered injuries requiring transport by Henry County EMS, but damage to his motorcycle was estimated at more than $1,500.
