MPCSD encourages kindergarten pre-registration

MT. PLEASANT — While may families are just getting back into a normal rhythm following the holidays and snow days, Mt. Pleasant Community School District is already looking ahead toward next school year. As they begin planning for the 2024-2025 year, the district requests families pre-register for kindergarten.

MPCSD is currently requesting pre-registration for children that will be entering kindergarten (must be 5 years of age on or before September 15, 2024) for the 2024 – 2025 school year. Children must be five years of age on or before Sep. 15, 2024 to enter kindergarten next school year.

As the district plans for the next kindergarten class, pre-registration is the first step in getting an idea of the number of students the district can expect in the fall for the next year. Even students already enrolled in preschool with the district should pre-register to assist in gaining a better idea of numbers.

The kindergarten roundup form can be found on the district website (www.mtpcsd.org) or is available at any of the elementary buildings.
