MT. PLEASANT—Mt. Pleasant High School prepares students for their futures with college and career fairs, a military career aptitude tests, information for college enrollment, and Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) assistance.
Tomorrow, Oct. 21, Mt. Pleasant High School will host a College and Career Fair during the school day.
Students will attend opposite their lunch phase.
According to the school guidance department, this is a great opportunity for students to learn more about our area employers and area colleges.
The fair allows students to meet with them face-to-face and ask questions about their businesses and schools.
This will create an adjustment to the normal school schedule. The new schedule is available on the school Facebook page.
Students who have not taken a college class or attended a meeting about college enrollment must attend the college enrollment student and parent Zoom meeting Thursday, Nov. 3 at 6 p.m.
The Zoom link will be sent to students email and posted on Mt. Pleasant Community High School and MPCHS Counseling pages.
Additionally, the high school will host an Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Test (ASVAB) for tenth, eleventh, and twelfth graders Nov. 8 beginning at 8 a.m.
Thursday, Nov. 3, the school will offer assistance with their FAFSAs.
Students should bring their laptops to the high school media center between 5-7 p.m. to utilize this support.
