MPPD charge Washington man with Enticing Minor

MT. PLEASANT — Mt. Pleasant Police Department conducted an investigation on Jan. 8 into Tony Collet, 29 of Washington, for allegedly talking inappropriately with an underage female juvenile subject.

After conducting the investigation, Collett was found to be sending inappropriate pictures to the female juvenile subject he believed to be underage and attempting to arrange to meet to engage in sexual activity.

Collett was charged with Enticement of a Minor Under 16 years of age-sexual purpose, a Class D felony and four counts of Dissemination of Obscene Material by Phone first offense, Aggravated Misdemeanors.

Collett is currently in custody in the Washington County Jail on unrelated charges tot his investigation.

A criminal charge is an accusation until proven guilty.
