Mt. Pleasant chamber announces Bob Griffth as Holiday Parade grand marshal

MT. PLEASANT— In honor of his 2023 Volunteer of the Year (awarded in March 2023), Bob Griffith has been named the Grand Marshal for the annual Holiday Parade. The parade will take place on Thursday, Dec. 7 at 5:15 p.m. through downtown Mt. Pleasant.

The theme for this year’s parade will be “Favorite Christmas Songs.” Over 50 entries will be participating in the Holiday Parade this year.

The parade will begin on Jefferson behind the Methodist Church and will head south on Jefferson to Monroe Street, go one block east to Main Street. The parade proceeds back north to the church and will end at Saunders Street. The beautiful Central Park in downtown Mt. Pleasant will be the perfect place to watch Santa arrive.
