Mt. Pleasant Community Band gears up for summer

Director Adam Creager invites musicians to join the band for the 2024 season beginning this June

MT. PLEASANT — Summer is nearly here, and that means the Mt. Pleasant Community Band is preparing for their 2024 performances.

According to Director Adam Creager, the band is always looking for “fresh new faces” to join their ranks and add to the ever-growing sound of the community band which will perform four times throughout the summer. The band welcomes musicians of all backgrounds to play with them. Creager even offers to lend instruments to those wanting to play, but needing to borrow one.

The band will perform the following Thursdays at 7 p.m. in Central Park Square: June 13, June 20, June 27, and July 11 with rehearsals for each performance the Tuesday before at Mt. Pleasant Middle School in the music room at 7 p.m.
