Mt. Pleasant Family Aquatic Center opens this weekend
With school ending and summer starting, it’s time to hit the pool in Mt. Pleasant
MT. PLEASANT — After a soft opening over Memorial Day weekend, Mt. Pleasant Family Aquatic Center will officially open for the 2024 swimming season this Friday, May 31.
The pool will offer lap swim from noon-1 p.m. and open swim from 1-7 p.m. Monday-Sunday. Check the Mt. Pleasant Park and Recreation Department Facebook page for any changes to open hours.
Adults 16 and up can enjoy the pool for a $4 daily admission. Children ages 4-15 will pay $3.50 for admission and children 3 years old and younger are free. For those frequenting the pool this summer, the following passes are available for purchase. Individuals may purchase a season pass for $75. Family passes for up to five members may be purchase a pass for $150. Additional members may be added for $10 each.
Another money saving option include ticket books. Use one ticker per person per visit. A 10 ticket book costs $30 and a 25 ticket book costs $60.
These passes and tickets may be purchased at the Mt. Pleasant Park and Recreation Office located at 307 E. Monroe Street Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
