Mt. Pleasant man fails to maintain control of vehicle
MT. PLEASANT — A Mt. Pleasant man left a vehicle accident uninjured, but with a hefty fine last weekend.
Just north of Mt. Pleasant on Saturday, Aug. 3 shortly before 1 p.m., the Henry County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a single vehicle collision near the intersection of 210th Street and Iowa Avenue. Upon investigation authorities determined Rosalbeau Pierre, 31 of Mt. Pleasant, was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed in his 2003 Toyota Carolla when he lost control of the vehicle.
While he did not sustain injuries, the damage to his vehicle was estimated at approximately $200 and received a citation for failure to maintain control.
