Mt. Pleasant Police Department investigates car burglaries

MT. PLEASANT — Mt. Pleasant Police Department is asking the public for any information regarding vehicle burglaries this last week.
According to MPPD, they received a report of a vehicle burglarized at the Plantation Apartment Complex on West Monroe Street. An investigation found that two other vehicles were burglarized at the complex.
The department processed the scene and found DNA samples and fingerprints which were collected and sent to the Department of Criminal Investigation’s crime lab.
MPPD asks that anyone with information regarding these acts to contact them at 319-385-1450.
