Mt. Union man charged for theft
Vehicle stolen in Henry County recovered in Clinton

MT. PLEASANT — A Mt. Union man has been charged with Theft in the Second Degree after alleged theft of a vehicle in Henry County.
On May 1 at approximately 4:55 a.m., the Henry County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stolen motor vehicle from the 2400-grid of 210th Street. An investigation determined a 2010 Lincoln MKT was stolen by Marshal Barr, 33 of Mt. Union. Barr was identified as the offender, but prior to apprehension he fled the area to Clinton.
The vehicle was later recovered in Clinton. Barr was charged with Theft in the Second Degree, a Class D felony. Warrants for Mr. Barr’s arrest were applied for.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Mt. Pleasant Police Department and Clinton Police Department.
