MT. PLEASANT — June 10 Iowa State Fair’s 2021 Best of Show artist Nash Cox will cruise into Mt. Pleasant in his own vintage pick up to attend Cruise Night and his exhibit reception at Mt. Pleasant Main Street Art Center.
Cox is a self-taught artist known for his realistic watercolor depictions of vintage automobiles.
He is known not only in Iowa, but across the United States, Puerto Rico and Australia.
For the month of June his work is displayed at the Mt. Pleasant Main Street Art Center.
A popular piece currently on display is Cox’s “Bonnie,” which only recently arrived back from being displayed in the American Watercolor Society's 155th Annual International Show at the Salmagundi Club in New York this May.
The Art Center will hold a reception for Cox’s exhibit from 5-7 p.m. June 10.
