New London hosts Treats and Trivia
The school raises funds for the performing arts program with a night of treats and trivia

MT. PLEASASNT—Friday, Feb. 24 New London Performing Arts will host their 11th annual “Treats and Trivia” fundraiser.
Teams consisting of ten or fewer members must register by Feb. 17 to secure their spot to compete in the eight rounds of trivia.
During the eight rounds of trivia in the Clark Elementary Cafeteria, teams will also enjoy snacks.
The team walking away with first place will also receive a cash prize.
Teams may register online via the New London Performing Arts Facebook or www.nlcsd.org.
Each team member will pay $20 to play. Additionally teams may purchase one mulligan for $5 or 6 for $25. Teams do not have to purchase mulligans ahead of time.

Proceeds from “Treats and Trivia” will benefit the New London Performing Arts.
The New London Performing Arts include instrumental music, vocal music, theater, and speech.
So far this year, New London Performing Arts have performed in a successful marching band season including a performance before the Cavalcade of Power parade for the 46th consecutive year.
Students also performed the comedic play A Family Reunion to Dei For by Matt and Mike Steele.
Other successes from the 2022-23 school year thus far include sending seven groups to Large Group State Speech Contest and one of those groups received a recommendation for the All State Speech Showcase.
Currently the high school band and choirs continue working on performances for school concerts along with contest opportunities.
The New London Perform Arts will also perform Little Mermaid Junior this spring for their musical.
