ROME - A man from Rome was taken into custody by the Henry County Sheriff's Office after violating a no-trespass order on Sunday, June 30, at approximately 9:28 p.m.
Brian Schultz, of Rome, violated a no-trespass order after visiting his daughter Trisha Schultz's residence in Rome on Sunday night. Trisha called the Henry County Sheriff's office to the scene for a disturbance.
Upon investigation by the Sheriff's office, it was found that Brian violated the no-trespass order three times by driving to Trisha's residence on a mower and by motor vehicle. Brian had been intoxicated that evening during the incident, according to a report from the Sheriff's Office.
Brian was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication, trespass and cited for operating a non-registered vehicle and no valid driver's license.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
