CRAWFORDSVILLE — The WACO Elementary PTO brought Christmas to town a little early as families flocked to WACO Elementary for some holiday fun.
On a beautiful sunshiny Saturday afternoon, Santa came to WACO elementary to visit with families and snap some photos before the business of the holiday season could set in.
Families still looking for their Santa photos can find them on a link available on the WACO Elementary PTO Facebook page.
In addition to taking photos, families enjoyed cookie decorating, making snowflakes, and coloring pictures.
Smiles spread across faces as families climbed aboard for Clip Clop Carriage Company’s horse-drawn carriage during the afternoon as well.
While families had a blast at the event, WACO Elementary PTO is just getting started on celebrating the holidays.
Right now, they are accepting donations for their annual Santa’s Workshop which allows littles to shop for their loved ones at kid friendly prices.
They will accept donations through the first week of December for the upcoming event Dec. 14 at the WACO Elementary School gym.
For those wishing to make monetary donations, the PTO asks they make checks payable to WACO PTO with Santa Shop in the memo. Physical donations can be dropped in the school donation boxes located by the office.
Additionally, the PTO is seeking volunteers to help the little shoppers make purchase and label their gifts during the actual event.
