MT. PLEASANT — Main Street Mt. Pleasant will host their annual Saving of the Green Beer Walk Thursday, March 16 from 5:30-8 p.m.
“Next week is saving of the green, beer walk,” Main Street Director Lisa Oetken said at an Alive After Five event Wednesday evening.
According to the Main Street, “Whether you are a Craft beer aficionado or someone just learning to love the flavors of artisan beers, you won’t want to miss Saving of the Green Beer Walk. This event will feature delicious Iowa-brewed craft beers and more.”
The beer walk usually attracts good sized crowds that travel from downtown business to downtown business celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.
This year, Paul Dean Katsion will sponsor the event and guests will receive a bright green plastic cup with their ticket purchase. Cup supplies are limited, however, so guests are encouraged to purchase their tickets early.
To purchase tickets, which are $15, visit http://bit.ly/3ZdmwIf or contact Main Street Mt. Pleasant.
“You’ll want to come out,” she added.
“We’re hoping for great weather,” Oetken said. “It’s going to be a fun time.”
