Winfield’s October WAGG (Winfield Area Grateful Gathering) Event will feature the local area guest speaker, Scott Johnson. The event will be held at Winfield’s United Methodist Church on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 6 p.m.
Johnson was born in Centerville. In his early years, his family moved around quite a bit. He started school in Centerville, and when Johnson was in third grade, his family moved to Virginia, Illinois. When Johnson was in the fifth grade, his family relocated to Crawfordsville.
Currently, Johnson lives in the neighboring town of Olds. He has been married for 24 years, and they have three children, ages 20, 17, and 14. Johnson is the owner and founder of Johnson Capital Financial. He is a financial professional by trade.
In addition to a successful financial background, Johnson has spoken in several area churches and has served as an interim pastor in the past. He has a passion for Jesus and loves to encourage others in the faith of our Lord and Savior!
Johnson also serves his community as a member of the Wayland Economic Development board.
All are welcome to join the Winfield community to hear an inspirational message from Johnson. There will be refreshments and fellowship following his message. A freewill donation will be taken for future WAGG Events.
