SEISO will offer a free Hollydaze Concert this Saturday

Join us at our free family-friendly Hollydaze extravaganza concert and reception on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 3 p.m. at the Chapel Auditorium on Mt. Pleasant Community School District Central Campus in Mt. Pleasant. The more the merrier!
The program features the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra Chorus directed by Blair Buffington of Mt. Pleasant and the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra Children’s Chorus directed by Dr. Christine Bergan of Ottumwa. Vocal soloists Stephen Swanson and Sarah Rosales in addition to Espressivo Strings from Preucil School in Iowa City and River Strings from Javaux Music School in Quincy will also be featured.
Holiday favorites including music from Frozen, The Polar Express, The Muppet Christmas Carol, Barbra Streisand, Mannheim Steamroller, Vaughan Williams, Handel’s Messiah, and numerous Christmas carols will be performed.
“This concert always gets me in the mood for the holidays and is a great way for families to connect and make memories at a busy time of year”, notes conductor Robert McConnell. The concert takes place at the Chapel Auditorium on the MPCSD Central Campus (601 N. Main Street) at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec.14. Admission is free for everyone! Concert goers will have an opportunity to provide additional support for the orchestra during a freewill offering.
