Henry County includes 10 incorporated towns, five of which have populations under 300. The following city officials can provide information about the area and what you will need to know about each city.
New London
New London is a quiet community nestled in between Mt. Pleasant and Burlington and is the perfect place to settle for those looking to call a small-town home.
New London has several small businesses to meet all your needs from our general store to our chiropractor and everything in between including a meat market, local hair stylists, gas stations, medical office, optometrist, home decor store and post office.

The City & Utility Office are in charge of sending and collecting the monthly utility bills and is a central point of contact for any City inquiry or issue. It is also where the Council and Utility Trustees chambers are located.

Wayland

Winfield
The City of Winfield is a family-focused, volunteer-minded community, strategically connected, secure and poised for growth. Incorporated in 1882, Winfield has grown to become a supporting player to its neighboring cities offering affordable housing, low cost of living, and low crime rates.
Located in southeast Iowa, just 15 miles northeast of Mt. Pleasant, 45 miles south of Iowa City, 25 miles southeast of Washington. Winfield is another great location to be able to enjoy the small-town values without giving up big city amenities.
