Sunrise Terrace to celebrate National Skilled Nursing Week
The Winfield nursing home will celebrate National Skilled Nursing Week with activities each day

Sunrise Terrace Nursing and Rehab Center will be celebrating National Skilled Nursing Week May 12-18.
This is a time set aside to recognize the important role care centers play in their communities and the lives of their residents, staff, and family members. The theme this year is “Radiant Memories — Remembering the Golden Age of Radio.” There are many special fun events planned over the week. Community members are invited to join the Sunrise family for the following events:
Sunday, May 12 from 2-3 p.m. Mother’s Day Social. Cookies and punch in Dining Room
Monday, May 13 from 7-11 a.m. Wheelie’s Coffee Truck in front parking lot. Come start your morning with a special drink!
Tuesday, May 14 from 7:30-9 a.m. Omelet Breakfast. Free will donation. Omelets made to order, toast, juice, fellowship.
3 p.m. Radio Skit by our staff, reminiscent of the Golden Age of radio!
Wednesday, May 15 starting at 11 a.m. Mac’s 2 Pizza Truck in the front parking lot. Come get your lunch here!
Thursday, May 16 5-7 p.m. — Tailgate Party on front parking lot!
The Onion Shoppe food truck will be set up to purchase sandwiches/onion straws/fried treats/etc. Sunrise will provide free drinks, chips, and desserts. There will be a Bounce House for kids, tattoos, balloon animals, etc. (Please call and let us know if you plan to attend and want your resident to wait and eat with you. 257—3303)
Friday, May 17 at 3 p.m.— Come listen to Larry Jensen play the piano
Sunrise staff are working hard to make this a memorable week full of unique opportunities. Visitors are always welcome, but the above events are geared toward community inclusion. Please pass the word along to others who may want to take part. The more, the merrier!
