Swedesburg Lutheran to Host Orgelmusik Concert Featuring Dr. Yu (Tracy) Qian

SWEDESBURG — Swedesburg Lutheran Church will present a special Orgelmusik Organ and Piano Concert featuring renowned musician Dr. Yu (Tracy) Qian on Sunday, March 2 at 3 p.m.
The free concert will showcase a dynamic mix of organ and piano literature, including newly composed works. A native of China, Dr. Qian began studying piano at the age of 4 and has since performed extensively across the United States, China, Italy, and the Netherlands. In addition to her performance career, Dr. Qian is an active music arranger and the founder of the "Chinese Music on Organs" project, which brings traditional Chinese melodies to the organ.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear newly arranged compositions by Dr. Qian in the beautiful setting of Swedesburg Lutheran Church. A reception will follow the performance.
This event is free and open to the public. A freewill offering will be accepted to support the Swedesburg Organ Fund.
Swedesburg Lutheran Church also invites music lovers to mark their calendars for its next concert: Jacob Sprengler: Organ and Trumpet Concert on Sunday, May 4 at 3 p.m.
