Thank You is NOT Enough

MT. PLEASANT — Thank You is NOT Enough will host their annual fundraising soup supper this Saturday, Feb. 18 from 5-7 p.m. in honor of veterans and first responders.

The event will offer a variety of soups, vegetable trays, and desserts for a free will donation.

A raffle for a 1911 .45 Ultra Carry with custom grip that reads “We The People” also will raise funds at the event. Tickets will sell one for $20 or six for $100. The gun raffle will take place June 10.

The Moose will donate all proceeds from the supper and raffle to veterans.

In addition to a warm meal, veterans also will receive gratitude in the form of Quilts for Valor beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Local author of Task Force IED: Iowa National Guard Fight Against IED's in IRAQ, Curt Swarm, will sell and autograph his books at the event.
