MT. PLEASANT — Executive Director Ryan Duffie cut a ribbon to celebrate The REC Center’s nomination for the small business of the year.
Chamber and community members gathered at The REC Center and enjoyed one another’s company, cookies, fruit, and coffee.
“It is the mission of the REC Center to promote quality living and well-being for people of all ages through fitness, recreation and wellness opportunities,” says The REC center’s website.
The REC Center employs 10 trainers, serves the community with events like Switch day, and encourages healthy living.
They pride themselves in being a family fitness and recreation center that cares for each individual and their healthy lifestyle needs.
The winner for the Small Business of the Year Award will be announced Friday at luncheon for chamber members.
