Tigers beat Warriors in four

NEW LONDON - The New London volleyball team picked up their second win over a Henry County opponent in four days, taking down WACO in four sets.The Tigers dominated the first game, winning 25-8, but the rest of the sets were barn-burners. The Tigers took a 2-0 lead with a 25-20 win in the second set. WACO won the third set 25-23, and New London closed the game out with a 25-21 win in the fourth.
Kaylor Schulte and Addie Pry led the Tigers offensively, as they've done all season. Schulte had 14 kills in the win, and Pry finished the night with 13.
Sofie Regihard had seven kills in the win. Alexa Wenger had five kills. Sophie Lounsbury finished with four, and both Peyton Jackson and Kristen Rohdy had one.
Rohdy led the way with 39 assists in the win. Chloe Coleman's 38 digs paced the defense.
The Tigers went 91-95 on the serve and finished with an astounding 17 aces. Pry had five aces in the win. Coleman, Rohdy and Wenger had three aces apiece. Marah Hartrick, Jackson and Schulte each had one.
WACO was led by a trio of hitters that reached double digits. Clara Schmitz was the top hitter with 11 kills. Kristen Conley and Morgan Graber each finished with 10.
Nadiyah Brown had nine kills for the Warriors. Lona Farrier had four kills. Laney Graber had two, and both Aubri Garnsey and Lindsey Roth had one.
L. Graber led the Warriors with 40 assists in the loss. Garnsey had 35 digs to lead the WACO defense.
WACO went 56-66 on the serve and had eight aces. Roth led the way with three of those aces. Farrier and L. Graber had two apiece and Conley finished with one.
