Trash collection moved to Friday

Southeast Iowa Union offers audio versions of articles using Instaread. Some words may be mispronounced.
Trash and recycling will not be picked up Thursday, Nov. 28 due to Thanksgiving.
Wemiga Waste will pick up garbage and recycling in Hillsboro, Houghton, Stockport, and Birmingham on Friday, Nov. 29.
Those in Mt. Pleasant with trash pickup scheduled Wednesday, Nov. 28 will not see a change in their scheduling. Those with Thursday pickup, however, can expect Wemiga or Lance to collect their garbage Friday, Nov. 29.
Trash for Oakville and south of Wapello also will be picked up Friday.
