Triple Seven host an Alive After 5 Wednesday
MT. PLEASANT — Wednesday evening, Triple Seven trucking hosted a celebration to show off their new shop located on Barton Lane in Mt. Pleasant.
Family is crucial to the Triple Seven Trucking company.
The company is even named for the seven year age gap between co-owners Blaire and Stacie Barton’s three children.
The land where the new Triple Seven Trucking Company’s shop is happens to also be land that owner Blaire Barton grew up on.
“When I approached my dad with this idea, of course he grabbed his pencil and paper and blue prints and here we are,” he said. “He spearheaded this project from day one. Him and his crew laid the foundation, the driveways and they actually built all the offices that we have.”
“One of the biggest I’m proud of is our numbers with Pep stop.” Blaire Barton said.
In 2021 the company bought 108,069 gallons of fuel from Mt. Pleasant Pep stop.
So far in 2022, they have purchased 71,398 gallons.
Blaire Barton expressed gratitude for his family, employees, and customers as he beamed with pride at this next step in his company’s journey.
“I appreciate you all being here,” he said.
The shop had plenty of room, and yet people filled most of the available space.
While much of the space is set up for working with their trucking fleet, there are offices and a complete kitchen as well.
Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce’s Meg Richtman was particularly impressed with the black garage door that opens up the kitchen into the trucking bays.
The company showed their appreciation for the community and all those involved with a large charcuterie type spread provided through the catering of Airport Road Vineyard.
Plenty of adult beverages were available, and a friendly atmosphere full of chatter, laughter, and music filled the space with celebration.
