Turkey Trot returns

MT. PLEASANT — The Mt. Pleasant REC Center and Community PTA are hosting their annual Turkey Trot 5K or 1 mile walk or run Nov. 24.

Registration and activities will begin at 8 a.m., and the run will start at 9 a.m.

Activities will include a bounce house, face painting, games, and 50/50 raffle, to name a few.

The cost is $20 for all participants 13-years-old and older. Those 12 and under are free.

To pre-register visit the REC center or register online through their website.

For those registering before Friday, Nov. 4, a T-shirt is included in the registration cost.

Proceeds from this run will go toward supporting membership scholarships at the REC Center and the Mt. Pleasant Community PTA.
