The whole month of May a vacuum designed by Lorrilee Miller will be displayed in the window of the Main Street Mount Pleasant Art Center to garner attention for a fundraiser for Ukrainian children.
This fundraiser is currently being put together by a local group of retired teachers calling it “War Sucks for Children.”
They would like to take any sucky vacuums off your hands.
If you have a rejected vacuum that refuse to suck they can be donated to War Sucks for Children.
Contact Bev Anderson at bevalder24@gmail.com or drop them off at the Mt. Pleasant News office by April 15.
