Van Allen welcomes new Special Education Teacher

MT. PLEASANT - It’s that time of year again, teachers and families are preparing for a new school year. Take some time to get to know the newest teachers to the area.

Stacey Faulkner

Van Allen Middle School added a veteran special education teacher to their staff for the 2022-2023 school year.

Stacey Faulkner has taught special education for the last 15 years, and most recently taught for 10 years at Wood Intermediate in Davenport.

This 2007 Iowa State University graduate grew up in Manson, about 30 minutes west of Fort Dodge.

She is excited to begin her adventure in special education at Van Allen Middle School this week.

Faulkner has the support of her husband of 10 years, CJ, and their two children Hoyt, 8, and Amelia, 5, along with the company of their 9-year-old dog Lola.
