WACO high school’s prom was hosted Saturday night. The theme for the evening, “rustic romance,” was beautifully represented from the start of the festivities at Grand March. The gym was decorated by the junior class with floral arches, twinkling lights, and rustic-wooden touches.
Couples strutted their stuff before heading to dinner and dancing at This Old Barn in Fairfield. Many couples struck fun poses or performed “secret” handshakes at the end of the runway. Brothers David and Philip Roth were crowd favorites in their unique tuxedos. Also catching audience attention was Quinn Scarff as she held onto her date Jon Rice with one arm and a crutch in the other. Unfortunately Scarff found herself injured the Monday before. The couple, however, were all smiles.
Senior parents hosted after prom for the students at the E3 Center in Mt. Pleasant. The event boasted of prizes, food, and fun activities such as karaoke, putt-putt, and air brush tattoos.
