Winfield fourth-graders win SE Iowa Rec League basketball tournament

On Saturday, February 7th, nine 4th grade boys from WMU traveled to New London to compete in the SE Iowa Rec League basketball tournament, and came home wearing first-place medals.
To earn their medals, they first had to defeat the New London and Mt. Pleasant teams. There was a total of seven teams competing. They were Columbus Junction, Danville, L & M, Mt. Pleasant, New London, WACO and WMU.
